Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation Walk, March 31st 2019
5D Clinics was a proud sponsor of the 2019 Put Your Foot Down walk for the Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
The Put Your Foot Down walk is a nation-wide walk event for the Pancreatic Cancer community and is held in seven national cities across Australia. The walk is designed to increase awareness, and raise vital funds for medical research into Pancreatic Cancer. 5D Clinics Peter Podias, was a proud participant and presented the award for the highest team fundraiser.
In Australia, over 3,000 people are diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer each year, with survival rates of less than 10% at 5 years. This highlights just how important it is to improve treatment options, patient survival and increase medical research in this field.
