On the 2019 Accuray Symposium at The Westin, Perth – May 25th 2019
The 5D Clinics team presented to passionate and like-minded cancer treatment providers including Auckland DHB, Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre, Royal Brisbane & Womens Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Cancer Centre, The University of WA and Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital.
The day was filled with a number of informative presentations, with 5D Clinics well represented and interesting presentations from Keynote speaker Dr Rico Liu.
Keynote Speaker Dr Rico Liu, from the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital spoke about his experience with Accuray CyberKnife® and TomoTherapy Systems in Hong Kong.
5D Clinics Principal Physicist, Ben Hug presented on the “Clinical Implementation of the CyberKnife® MLC head: Beam Modelling and validation”.
5D Clinics Supervising Radiation Therapist, Ben Yap presented on “Virtual Brachy Boost with CyberKnife® for High-Risk Prostate Cancer: The 5D Clinics Experience”.
5D Clinics Supervising Radiation Therapist, Gemma Waters presented a case study on “CyberKnife® for Centrally Located Lung Tumours”.
